Installation has been required on metal-spinning Leifeld PNC/CNC with LEICO control. The user was specially worried about [1] finding no more floppy drive replacement and, if he had to change PNC/CNC, about [2] losing all his programs. The user was also specially worried about [3] program floppies, non-readable by the PC, beginning to rotten and becaming unreliable.
Special floppy backup software has been installed and configured
All program floppies are now safely backed up in the central server
Old floppy drive has been low-level analyzed and EMUFDD properly configured to emulated it
Non-standard floppy drive connector has been replaced with a standard one
Machine is now being able to playback all existing programs and also to create new ones
